God often takes us from a place of slavery in Egypt, to the freedom & abundance of Canaan – but it happens only by faith that we’re able to enter in to what God has for us.

Journeys are often thwart with danger, pressures & darkness, but what I’ve learnt, the hard way, is to trust God. Not just trust IN Him, but to trust Him. He is Faithful, He is Good, He is. He knows what lays ahead for us, He knows how to overcome the seemingly insurmountable.
Valleys & mountain tops, each bring their own battles, victories. I love what Coach Boone says about a football field, in ‘Remember the Titans’ (one of my all time favourite movies) - ‘this is my sanctuary, right here… this is always right, struggle, survival, victory & defeat’.
Perhaps, we should look at the challenges life brings as such – always right – in the wisdom of God, always choosing our character above our comfort. The struggles of circumstances, fighting our hearts out to survive cos we trust in an all powerful God, victory over bondage & sin, defeating the enemy & prospering through faith in the purposes of God – all to His glory.
