Ah, the beauty of Signal Hill caught at sunset! I’ve always wanted to get a shot like this, where just the edges are illuminated. It reminds me somehow of the Scottish Thistle, this one…

I just couldn’t choose between these two shots today, I love both! The effect of the clouds was just amazing! I could barely do anything to it in editing, whatever I did just took that feeling away… So, you choose 
Here we are, sitting at the Plaza of O-week at UCT, snapping shots of the students, when these guys came flying over! I missed them twice! But, as they say, third time lucky! Gotta love AI Servo!
It was Urshie’s birthday celebration & going over for some cake & tea turned into a photo shoot with the kids! They were very willing subjects, but very busy too! Learnt a lot about the camera & kids at the same time!

On Sat, 20th Nov, I had the great opportunity to take photo’s of the Every Nation School of Campus Ministry’s Graduation. In between all the formalities, I at least had the chance to play a little too :)
I love just going to the beach & sitting there, listening to the waves, breathing in the ocean breeze. But in Cape Town, winter is sometimes of the least enjoyable times on the beach, but we decided to go anyway – & play with the camera!
I saw that my little Panasonic DMC-TZ1 can do things I always wanted to, but never got it right to do, thanks to my Fiance, I now know how :) – as if it was rocket science! But it shows you what you can miss out on if you don’t at least try!
